Boys and girls,

Read the instructions carefully.

Step 1: Consider these questions as a group of four.

- Which fairy tale are you going to “fracture?”
- How will you change that fairy tale?
- Who will be the protagonist? The antagonist?
- From whose point of view will the story be told?
- Where will the story take place?
- What problem will have to be solved?

Step 2: Write the fairy tale in 800 words (that is, approximately 200 words per student). Because of the character limit, you might have to add prequels and sequels i.e. split story into approximately 4 parts.

Step 3: Bask in the glory of your fractured fairy tale.
