I have always been interested in the sociological aspects of writing. Particularly that of different cultures. When done realistically, ancient cultures lose their mysticism and their esoteric nature. They become gritty real works of art, shocking and strange in their descriptions. I wanna hear a good stories about an ancient civilization that is completely fictional. I love to hear things about shamanistic tribal cultures, or anything set in the middle east. Some cultures used rituals similar to ancient spells, and told fortunes. That type of thing can really make for some wonderful fiction. If you think you’re up to the task try it, creating a world of your own can a really enriching experience.
