Not sure if this is a good idea or not – how motivating is that!

So…with Halloween not quite here and Christmas distant on the drab horizon (Thanksgiving too for our Amerian friends ;D), I’m finding the weather and time of year a little depressing.

Your challenge be this: to invent a new holiday / festival.

The presentation of it is entirely down to you whether you describe the origin of the holiday or a celebration of it, or just describe it’s purpose.

The winner’s idea shall become an official Ficly holiday, to be celebrated annually on the 27th October.
