Odd and bizarre take on an Orwellian sort of world with this kind of authority. Hits home here, as we’re a community of writers, though I would have liked to see more development as to why they think writing leads to murder. You also bounced between past and present tense, which is always a big distraction.

I struggle with that. I don’t always write in one sitting, so I really should proof read better, huh?

Well, it is a huge fear of mine that someday we won’t be able to read books or write or generally express ourselves. You know, sort of like Farenheit 451. And they do tend to cut music and art programs in schools first. I guess you could say that I have an issue with such things.
