singing a stranger's song...

She picked up her bag and left. Clad in designer labels, she was a vision. As she strutted out of the coffee shop all eyes were on her. But my mind had already dismissed her… It was the man she left behind i was interested in. He too was dressed in expensive clothes and had this air about him that was just magnetic. He was now lining up his papers neatly and putting them into his brief case. I took one last look at him and walked out of the shop. i was about to get into a cab when i felt someone tap my shoulder. My heart almost leaped out of my chest when i saw that it was him. My mind was a whirlpool of possibilities… had he caught me spying on him? was he going to ask me out? But before i could decide which was which he asked if it was okay for us to share a cab. I caught myself before i could ask him what had happened to his car as i had noticed that he was driving when he came to the coffee shop. Instead i nodded my consent and he put his hand on my waist and gently shoved me into the taxi.
