Unfortunately, I couldn’t get around the conundrum that to defy a stereotype one must admit that said stereotype both exists and has occurred to me. Being a member of pretty much every majority, there weren’t any stereotypes I felt comfortable admitting to. Thus, this lame attempt was born.

I dont exactly know get the stereotype, but I can imagine its from a joke. & I kind of chuckled.

I totally loved were you envision a “3 stereotypical men enter a bar” joke as the basis for this story. Everyone mentioned in this story falls into a stereotypical group, but I was under the impression that the challenge was to break the stereotypes, not just list them.

It didn’t DEFY the stereotypes, but I still found it amusing – you almost get the impression that these people are trapped inside some kind of joke world… Oh the possibilities :D

I enjoyed the treatment of the old “x, y and z walk into a bar”joke

Fair comments all, and yes I probably don’t qualify for the challenge. I more wound up defying the challenge itself than any stereotypes.

by writing a story that didn’t follow the Challenge, you therefore broke the Challenge’s stereotype…
