I’m a huge comic book/superhero nerd and my best friend and I got into a… spirited debate about Captain Planet and the Planeteers. I think he’s lame, my bff Jim says no. Anyway, at the start when he says “Water, Earth, Wind, Fire” I thought of that band Earth Wind and Fire and thought you were going to have the world end at an Earth Wind Fire concert lol.

I do like this story though.

Well, Raegan, I do have to agree with your friend! Even though I did make this Ficly, I still enjoy watching Captian Planet and the Planeteers all the time.

oh wow, what a flashback! I am in retro cartoon hell and spasming with cheesy cartoon songs and hemorrhagic with rainbow ink.
But I think this says a lot about our planet and the issues at hand with regards to the environment.
yet it is cleverly wrought in nostalgia.

Haha. Captian Planet is all about environment, so I’m glad at least his message came across!
