We talked about the date all through homeroom, science, english, and math. At lunch, however, there was a different subject on our minds, PROM!
“I CAN NOT WAIT!” Shrieked Dani.
“ME EITHER!” Agreed Maddie.
“Yea, I guess it will be fun. If I find someone to go with.”
“Um… Look in the mirror Liz. Your beautiful!” Said Maddie with a shocked expression.
“Seriously Liz. Are you kidding? I bet by the end of the day at LEAST five guys will ask you.” Dani stated in a matter-of-fact tone.
“Sure Dani but at LEAST twenty guys will ask you by the end of lunch.”
I was right. Guys were constantly coming up to our table to talk to Dani, but of course she said no.
“I’m going with Drew. I’m really sorry.” She replied to each boy that asked her.
