Hahaha. Good phobia and I liked the way you threw in to even effect his job!

A very good phobia to choose. I really like the way you described clocks (“The incessant moving of the second hands” being my favorite).

The one thing I would maybe do differently is introduce the idea of clocks being imprecise before you do the big “time traveler” reveal. Something about clocks being hard to synchronize, or how they are simply crude tools to measure the most powerful force in the Universe.

Darn good sci-fi take on a phobia!
