Lots and lots going on here. Might have read better with a tighter focus, but this way certainly lures in the reader with details. 6 of one, half dozen of the other perhaps. Definitely intriguing.

The falcon would have to walk in air currents like those.. How would he feel about being underground? They have an epic quest with each member having their own goal. Great beginning.
