What a sweet relationship they have/had as brother and sister.
When I first read it, the ending confused me a little, I kind of thought that the narrator asked Angie who the man was after he died and she said she didn’t know him; like she was some woman who walked around comforting people before they died. Then the second time I understood that wasn’t the case lol.

The more I think about it, the more possibilities there are with this story. I like it.

That actually is what I intended to do. As in, Alex was only acting as Angie to comfort the dying man. However, I then purposely decided to leave the ending a little open. I guess everyone has to make up his own ending now. :3
