The Old House on St. Godson Street Part 2
“What is it! Mary!” Emily shouted over her screams. Mary pointed at Roger’s bed. Roger was gone, and the bed had red stains on it.
“What’s that red on his bed?” Jackie asked, her voice shaking.
“I think it’s blood!” Emily squeaked.
“Roger’s probably just playing a prank on us. You know him. He just wants to scare us,” Mat said, trying to convince them. But he couldn’t even convince himself. Jackie gets up and walks over to Roger’s bed. She sniffs one of the stains. Her eyes widened.
“It’s blood. Come smell,” she said, her voice barely audible. They did, and then they all huddled together in the middle of the floor. The girls were whimpering, and Mat was trying to make sense of the stains.
“Lets all go back to bed. Well try and find Roger latter,” Mat said.
“But he’s dead,” Jackie said, but she obeyed Mat and went to bed.
“No, I’m sure he’s just pranking us,” Mat said. They went back to bed. But before they fell asleep, they heard a low moaning coming from the hallway.
