The bombs were coming closer now.
Getting the heavily pregnant Braun away from the bunker was proving more perilous by the minute. Adollf and the girl( who would be known as Braun when the remnents of the bodies were found) were secured deep in the bunker.
A low flying glider would transport Maria Braun to her future place of stay for the birth of the child, then to safety in the Alps where a home had been prepared long ago for the flight of Hitler if it ever became necessary.
When the glider came to a standstill the passenger was dead. Braun had sustained heavy wounds during the shelling and lost a lifes amount of blood during the short dash to freedom.
The pilot, taking all care,slit Eva’s abdomen and removed the foetus. A medic during the first days of the war, he worked feverishly on the foetus and was rewarded with a new life in the world.
The child continued the journey to the mountain hideaway.
