As the people talk and socialize
it is time for me to realize
all the changes happening around me
that are so clear and easy to see.

My friends and their friends
getting into fights and making amends.

Other people I really don’t know
trying to put on some sort of show.
Why must people do this to try and prove they are cool
when really it makes them look like a fool.

While other people be who they are
they are the coolest people by far.
