nice story

I didn’t evision Sauron being so whiny, but it works.

One thing that occurred to me reading this is how much it uses the events and setting in Tolkien’s work, and how other stories (even short ficlies not related to existing works) could imply a lot more depth of settings/events by using a similar style.
