My guess would be xanax and paxil, but I don’t think either one was available in the sixties; so in 1960 it would have been: orange pill = LSD or some sort of amphetamine, and white pill = valium
I knew Donna Reed was too perfect a mom and housewife not to use drugs :)
Very close, the orange pill is thorazine, or another type of pill to help with schizophrenia; light blue pill is 10mg of valium and the white one is just a generic pill for anxiety.
