Evil Princess, Part 1
The girl was sitting on a bench and reading a book. She was aware of someone approaching. She gazed up and saw the huntsmen wielding a dagger. The girl made eye contact with him. He was forced to look. The huntsman was overcome and fell to his knees. He sobbed for forgiveness. The girl put her hand on his shoulder.
There was a knock at her door. The Queen knew it to be him. She opened the door and saw a box on the ground. She picked up the box and went back inside. She twirled from the door to her looking glass.
“Now who is the fairest of them all?” she asked.
“The fairest of the kingdom is still the princess.”
“Impossible!” she cried, “I have her heart in this box!” She took off the lid and showed the content to the looking glass.
“The heart in the box belongs to the huntsman,” the looking glass said.
“What?” The Queen dropped the box in horror but still held on to the lid. It was then that she noticed a note attached:
Do not insult me by sending amateurs, madam. It is now my turn to strike.
