Whoa, disturbing dream sequence and then one heck of an ending. At first I was really disturbed, still thinking it was actually the mom communicating it. Then I woke up, and duh, it’s the guy’s dream. This is sadly a very common thought process for those who have a loved one commit suicide. The reality is quite the contrary, of course, as all fault lies in the individual who did it, but somehow that idea that those left behind are somehow to blame persists. Nicely done.

Very intense. There was a huge difference in the level of maturity between the action itself and the discription of the blood as a flower, or being shot from a water gun; which I think made your story more real and easier to relate to. When you’re that shocked and scared its hard not to feel some aspect of being a child
