That was the most disturbing Tooth Fairy story I’ve ever read. Great job turning something lovely into something really scary. Got to give you credit for the original angle.

Better late than never. Before the Christmas break I was too busy to judge this thing, and during the break I couldn’t log in to Ficly on the computer I was using. Anyway, here are my thoughts.

You’ve certainly put a twist in the tale, and I’ll give you credit for that.

However, I think that someone who hadn’t read the challenge description would probably miss the point, because you don’t actually mention anything about a piano or ivory (except in the title). One might be forgiven for assuming that the sound of a human screaming is music to the ears of fairies! You could have given a few more hints, such as a picture of an elephant on the door, or simply mentioning a piano in conjunction with the music. (Actually I imagine that music played on a fairy piano would be too high-pitched for a human to hear, but fairy tales don’t have to care about physics.)
