I've Got a Bad Feeling About This (1)
Kelsey glanced over at her husband who was still glued to the TV.
“Hello?” she asked into her phone.
“Oh my gah, Kels I am so glad I got you! Look, I’m stuck at the 27 Club and everyone bailed on me and this little kid is following me around. Feel like saving me?” her friend Ashlee pleaded.
“No problem,” Kelsey replied. It’s not like she’d be missing much at home anyway.
Kelsey got into her car, the lights passing her in a blur as she listened to her husband’s band’s CD. She couldn’t help feeling like she was living an out of body experience, an out of body existence.
She pulled up to the 27 Club and saw Ashlee immediately. “Thank you!” she shrieked to Kelsey before asking her for money for a cab. Just as Ashlee took the money from Kelsey, her eyes widened and her body stiffened.
“Oh shit,” Ashlee said, “Don’t look. That kid has been following me all night, trying to get in my pants.”
Kelsey looked, and then looked again.
“Jesse,” Kelsey said.
“You know that creep?”
“I’m his teacher,” Kelsey said.
