Nice ending image! It matches the wistfulness of the character! I like the details slowly revealed as well. When you mentioned the Corvette, I was thinking ‘drug dealer’ so the missing female was a good twist.

I like it. In general it has a ‘stream of consciousness’ feel, but you kept it tight enough that it told the story without undue rambling. Well executed.

Basically what Elsha and the Doc said. Awesome exposition, and that last bit struck me just the right way; in short, I’m liking muchly.
