An idea for a simple Ficly ended up turning into a ridiculous amount of research. For the curious, Arnold Denker was a chess grandmaster and was a mentor to Bobby Fischer. The opening move Arnold makes in the Ficly was actually Fischer’s favorite opening move. Bobby Fischer died in 2008. Arnold Denker had previously passed on in 2005… but what if he didn’t?

I agree with nagi… this Ficly screams to have a sequel written.
