First off: Welcome to Ficly.

I liked the idea of jealousy being a motive, although I’m a bit confused by the nature of the relationship. Romantic? BFF? I’m assuming by the way it refers to “heart and soul” that it is a woman.

Sounds promising.
I didn’t expect murder to be a part of the story when I read the beginning (I didn’t notice the murder challenge until the end lol).

It’s meant to be romantic, though it doesn’t particularly matter. It’s also a woman I had in mind, but again, I don’t think it matters. I think you could imagine any sort of close relationship with people of either gender. That’s my favorite part of these tiny stories, creating a tiny scene that someone can take in lots of directions in their head.

A strong opening! I suppose I’ll add a belated welcome here. It’s good to see another writer. Especially one with a TARDIS icon.

I like how this progresses quickly without feeling rushed. That’s hard to do without the use of sequels.
