Yes, I did the RenFest for 6 years and it was a blast. Met cool people from all over the world.

Interesting, I thought that the saber was the choice of pirates, not the epee!

Interesting thing about fencing in the 1970’s- girls were allowed to take epee, but saber was strictly forbidden for females at my college.
It was shortly after Title IX. Now, of course, they compete in saber at the Olympics (and team USA did very well).
