This is a really nicely written story, and because of that I will give it a 5 out of 5—it deserves it—but the rain isn’t really relative to the story. The story would be just as good without the rain. I’m giving you a five because I think the story itself is wonderful, but as far as the challenge goes, it’s not what I was looking for. Is that too harsh? I really do think this is good… If I didn’t, I wouldn’t give it a five.

To be fair, the challenge didn’t say that the rain had to play a major role the story. However, I was never under the impression that I would be winning this challenge anyway; there are too many stellar entries. I’m merely happy that you enjoyed it. Thanks for the comments!
