I Should Have Listened...

Why? Why didn’t I listen to my mom like a good little girl? Why did I have to be so rebellious? Well now I had to pay the price.
I tried to pry the hands that were gripped around my neck. He chuckled a humorless laugh. He knew that I couldn’t remove his hands no matter how hard I tried. I glared into his cold eyes.
“Why?” I whispered, as I struggled.
“Because I never liked you. No one did. I’m glad I have the pleasure of killing you,” he said. His grip tightened and tightened. The more I struggled the worse it got. I was gasping for air. No I can’t die like this I thought. He paused for a moment, then dragged me to a large tank.
“What’s in there?” I gasped. He just smiled a horrific smile. He threw me into the tank. He put the lid back on. I was drowning. Kinda ironic, considering I was a great swimmer.
As my last breath left me, I promised myself that I would come back and haunt him for as long as he lived. He wouldn’t get away with this without a punishment. He’d pay. Oh, yes he would.
You’ll pay brother.
