Hunter: Keep Trying

I snarled, bloody teeth trying to attach themselves to someone’s fingers, maybe a whole hand. An arm would be good! My long nails raked through layers of Kevlar clothing, and I heard someone grunt in pain behind me as I scented more fresh blood, and went crazy. Well, more so. The two who had grabbed hold of Amy were pulling her away from the men as whoever had me was struggling to drag my thrashing form out of the room. “Dude, just knock her out!” I heard someone whisper behind me before they yelped as my nails sliced over what felt like eyeball.

Someone replied, “If we did that we’d have to lock her up, and where would we do that—” “All we need to do is get her out of here, AWAY from the blood!” “Well, dude, that could be a problem. I’m bleedin’, and so is he. She managed to slice us up pretty good.” I heard someone snarl in exasperation over my own heavy breathing and loud, angry growling, and then new hands replaced the others who had been cutting off circulation in my arms.
