w00t, exactly 1024 characters AND a sequel to this awesome storyline! Let’s revive this storyline from its coma (no pun intended) =D!

Sequel? Looks like a non sequitur to me. :P

Supposedly, the device would be something that would further the the dunderheads’ goals of killing Death. However, they’d have to find some way to pry it out of the hands of an obviously insane man, making for much hilarity and PROFIT!! .

I could kind of see the potential you put into it, but the story is so different it would’ve been nice to have some link to the other ficlets of the series. (As an aside, the first line of the second paragraph has a typo.) Still, I’m glad that you revived it; hopefully I get the creative juice (which I haven’t had lately) or someone else feels compelled to sequel it.

I might sequel it myself to link this story to the previous ones. I tried to copy the format of introducing new characters in the past of this story, where they were introduced via a scene(s) in which their possible future importance was shown. Which is, essentially, this :)
