Talking
I fumed silently as I followed Tyson to the car. I was mad that I had let him get to me so easily, and so soon. I knew I shouldn’t have stayed after… but I couldn’t help but let myself remember the blissful times we had when we were together.
To my suprise, he opened his passenger door for me so I could get in. I shivered in his car because I was surrounded by the delicious scent of him. I took a deep breath to rememeber the intoxicating smell as Tyson walked around his car to get in on the driver’s side.
“Sorry ’bout that…” He mumbled when he got in, sounding just as I remembered he did all the times he’d hurt me throught out our releationship. I shook my head to ride myself of those thoughts.
“It’s kay…” I answered, feeling very shy suddenly. This was Tyson I was with. I knew everything there was to know about him. Why was I feeling so shy now?
“Want to go somewhere we can talk?” He looked at me, pleading silently with his eyes for me to accept.
I melted. I sighed and told him, “Sure.”
