Oh this is just like Gollum with his ring. ‘The precious!’

I really enjoyed right up until the last two lines. It just felt very rushed. I think a brief description of Michael, say, battering Roger to death with the book and then just going back to reading it would have made for a better ending.

I would have done that, and I know the ending wasn’t great but I was trying to confine it to one ficly. Maybe I can fix it…

I aree with the lost girl. Considering that the killing is the most important part, you should make more of it.

It’s a very good idea though.
