I don’t know what a portable classroom even is. I like how you chose the first year you remembered and went over the school. It was interesting since I know a lot of older people on here will remember that, well older than me, and kids my age are gonna look at it and say “portable classroom?” The last paragraph about the girl was my favorite and I hope you found something good, even if it wasn’t that girl.

I like your choice of words, like how the portable building was ensconced and Miss Evans was marshalling. Good choices that paint with a very colorful pallette.
