Oho! Well done Abby, you’ve given this story a new lease of life.

I love the second paragraph with its descriptions of Haffa’s senses and giving him catlike qualities.

The sentence ‘she had left him alive!’ suggests that Haffa knows the girl or knew her. There’s definitely something going on here.

I hope someone else sequels because I’m really interested to see where someone else will take this.

The sequels and the original in this line are so entertaining. All fun and all keep the story moving. I started writing a sequel for this particular installment, but I have so little faith in my writing ability, that I feel like I’d ruin such a great thing.
