Ouch…someone’s going to be cross. This plot is thickening gloriously and I’m enjoying having a part in it. I would only say that you shouldn’t repeat “last” in the second paragraph.

I still don’t like Gorm and I want him to die. If only the garden could survive without him. It is a crisis.

It’s dialogue, so I’m happy leaving it as it is. I don’t see someone saying it any other way. What would you suggest?

“He had enough at the previous feeding to last him until harvest.”
OR
“He had enough at the last feeding to sustain him until harvest.”
It sounds posh but she is a cousellor

I just love this series so much now, it’s like nothing else on here… Well done on bringing Nyci back into it, I didn’t feel quite up to doing that and you’ve developed her character nicely – interesting to see the repercussions of me killing off Joshua as well – kudos on adding some significance to that decision :) I think I’ll have a pop at the next sequel if nobody gets there first… MH :)

Nice installment. I like the calm, collected manner of Therys, and Nyci practically jumps off the page. Nice job.

Aw, Abby how can you not love Gorm? I think he might be my favourite character.

Nice job bringing Nyci into the same scene as Therys and Juno (even though she isn’t exactly there I still felt her presence). Poor Therys is a bit put upon with all these dominant female characters. Long live the lead females!

Anyone, that’s even raving. Down to the critical comments. This flowed so well, from Therys glancing at the villagers to Nyci yelling at him. Everything was just right, the pacing and the dialogue. Can’t wait for the next installment :)

Of all my Ficlys, this is the one that gets featured? Strange algorithm…

At least it promotes the series…and it’s a ficly to be proud of, my friend.
