The Mystery of St Mary's Hospital
“Have you seen Marie? She was supposed to help me with rounds today.” Carol spoke to a young woman at the front desk of the hospital. "No sorry Carol, have you checked the lounge? The young woman replied. “Yeah I was just there but thanks for the help; I will have to end up bumping into her sooner than later.” Carol started to walk back to the medical clinic where she spent most of her days helping out the patients who thought the common colds were the cause of greater sin.
A stern voice shouted at Carol as she was walking down the hallway. Carol was close to dropping clipboards of patient’s records when the man shouted her name.
Carol turned around to see the Chief of Medicine standing next to the reception desk. “Were you looking for Marie?” Chief of Medicine spoke to Carol. “Yes I was but I can’t find her anywhere.” – “Well that’s because she’s up stairs in the mental ward, one of our regular nurse didn’t show up today.” The Chief replied. “Do you know what room she’s in sir?” Carol asked.
