I am thankful, as always, for my parents who continue to let me stay in their house and eat their food for a nominal monthly fee. And for their support, throughout the years, always encouraging me to be creative and follow my dreams of becoming a published (not to mention paid) author.

I am thankful to all my lecturers, tutors and TA’s who continually feed my love of literature by forcing me to read books I wouldn’t otherwise touch with a ten foot bargepole.

I am thankful to my dogs who inspired me to write a novel based mostly on them and their activities. They are very good dogs. Mostly.

And finally, I am thankful for Ficly which I discovered thanks to Wilw who twittered about it a few months ago. This is the friendliest writing community I have had the good fortune to become a member of and I love all of you guys who have commented, rated and followed me. You are all wonderful.
