“It’s a book,” I said looking up at him confused.
“Yeah, with your name on it! I found it and had to get it for you.” He exclaimed.
“You woke me up so you could give me a book just because MY NAME WAS IN THE TITLE!?” I yelled angrily at him.
“Well, I’m a morning person you know that, and I was out for a run, and this book caught my eye at a stand and I figure your building was close by so why not drop it off?” He started talking faster and faster as I pushed him towards the door.
“You could have given it to me tomorrow,” I said.
“I know…but I also came to apologize, about the other day,” he said quietly.
“I’m listening.”
“I shouldn’t have just run off, I don’t know why I did, I was just having a bad day you know?” He said staring at the ground.
“No worries,” I said.
“Really?” he smiled at me.
“Yeah, yeah,” I mumbled turning towards the kitchen,“You hungry?”
“Do you even have to ask?”
I made breakfast, and as Robin started eating as though he hadn’t seen food in years I began my book…
