I'm Not Sure

I laid on Todd’s bed and looked at him. We were both completly naked and he had his arms wraped around me in a tight embrace. He kissed my forehead and said, “Taylor, I know that technically you still have a boyfriend, and I know that we both weren’t planning on doing this, and that’s why I really think we should wait to go all the way.”
Well, that one shocked me. I responded in a way that, to this day, I still am proud of myself, “Of course, and Todd, I need to tell my boyfriend everything. He deserves to know, and then of course I will leave him. Then you and I can be together with no problems or barriers to hold us back whatsoever.”

I wasn’t completly sure that me and Todd would make a perfect couple, I wasn’t sure that I loved him, and I definantly wasn’t sure that we would end up being together forever, but one thing I did know for a fact.

He treated me better than any guy I have ever met, and he loved me, and that was good enough for me.
