For the most part very good, interesting and clever, but I thought the ending was quite disappointing, it didn’t have any finality to it, or a cliffhanger, leaving it… Well, just leaving it!

But on the whole I like the characterisation of the clock as (true to purpose) a finicky timekeeper – a good premise for a tricky challenge! MH :)

the maths nerd in me loves this.
i think the cold objectivity works well. the narrator (the clock?) doesn’t care about the method of death, just about the correct time.
