“Let’s do it again!” James yelped as we made our way off of the ramp, leading down to the ground. I shook my head violently.
“Not in this lifetime.” He laughed. I literally got down on my knees and kissed the pavement, which was covered in gum and candy wrappers.
“Oh, you’re just upset because you didn’t get to ride with-”. I immedately cut him off. Not only was he going to say what I thought he was going to say, but he was about a foot shorter than me, and I could easily tackle him
“Don’t even go there.” I muttered through gritted teeth.
James rolled his eyes.
“It’s not like anyone can hear me.”
“Right.”
“I’m dead serious!”
“Uh huh. Please, when I told you I liked Samuel it-,”. James started coughing with wide eyes.
“Ugh! Why do you keep doing this?”
“Doing what?” Samuel came up from behind me.
“Oh nothing,” James said. Samuel looked at me.
“Wanna ride the coaster?”
“She’s too scared,” James cooed.
“I think I’ll manage.”
“But you said-,”.
We were already gone.
