This was beautiful – I play the violin and you captured the magic of the instrument perfectly…I especially loved the line A membrane of forgotten songs.

Stunning description here, and some nice personification towards the end, it’ll be hard for someone taking a similar approach to outdo this.

I also play violin :) very melancholy and beautiful. The sound hovers in your hollow body :P I see some alliterations snuck their way in! very nice!
