Tee and La: It's Always The Last Person You'd Expect

“Why Tee? Why’d you do it?” I whispered. I stared into her bright blue eyes. I could tell that she could read the anger, saddness, and betrayal in my eyes.
“Because of the power!” Tee said, and threw her arms out and the light beamed brightly from her.
“But you were already powerful. We have all the power in the world,” I said softly.
“Well now I’m more powerful then you La,” she sneered. I was shocked. She was Yin. The being of all things good and light. If anyone should be power hungry, it should be me. I’m Yang. The being of darkness and evil.
“What happened to you Tee?” I asked, my voice broke. She looked like she thought I was stupid.
“It’s simple La. I opened my eyes to reality. You could join me you know. You can have this kind of power too. Just join me,” she said, smiling. She held her hand out, expecting me to take it.
But this wasn’t my sister. This wasn’t my twin. I didn’t know what she had become.
“No,” I said, “I don’t know who you are anymore.” She shrugged.
“Then you must die,” she said.
