Souls of Rainbows

I don’t believe that everything happens for a reason. I don’t believe in fate, I don’t believe in destiny. I don’t believe that things are planned out in advance, and I don’t believe that we’re in control of anything but ourselves.

I believe in coincidences. I believe in random bouts of perfect timing. I believe in chain-reactions. Some coincidences are good, some are bad. Some will do more; they’ll change your life.

See, you constantly bump into things that leave a color on you, some kind of mark or effect, that’ll never leave you. I think if we could see souls they would each be rainbows of different colors, colors we couldn’t even imagine. There would be a different color for every experience we’ve ever had that’s affected us. And no one’s would be remotely the same, it would all be random and different.

I think that ‘fate’ is an answer that people give to a question with no answer.

I believe that sometimes there just isn’t an answer. Sometimes it’s random. It’s what makes life interesting… colorful.
