Ah it’s a like a modern day interpretation of ‘The Tortoise and the Hare’! I like the phrasing here – ‘I can tell that his heart just flew up the road with the Porsche’ is a luuurvely line… Nice work, interesting protagonist – I like that you didn’t make the protagonist’s identity a twist, it was just the way it is… Impressive! MH :)

I’ve seen Cars way too many times.. it kind of makes this story lose it’s luster for me.. however I like the tortoise and hare reference. :)

I like that the car is telling the story…gets you right in.

Ah, it was the car… The German words thrown in with the English were a nice touch for a German car, an overall good job!

I can appreciate focusing more on the feelings than the identity of the protag. Nicely done.
