Burning Heart (a poem)
A burning heart glints and glows,
Losing strength as shadows grow,
Metronome beats rush over like waves,
Cooling embers extinguishing flames,
Floating ashes fall as snow,
The lands dull thud a silent row,
Rising through the darkeness there is a spark,
A single flame to light the dark,
The lone flames dances to the constant beat,
Its faint glow fights to be seen,
Springing from ashes like daisies from snow,
A sign of hope from love to grow.
