{Utopia} (thelostgirl)
I think a display image can tell alot about a Ficleteer – after all, a picture can tell a thousand words can’t it?
thelostgirl’s display image clearly shows a bookcase, full (believe it or not) of books, leaning and tumbling against one another, different sizes, colours, and, I would guess, genres, mixing and mingling in literary bliss.
It is this kind of variety that has characterised thelostgirl’s remarkable tenure on Ficly so far.
Combining a ‘have-a-go’ attitude with an enviable aptitude for capturing setting, character and plot in those tricksy 1024 characters, thelostgirl has made a significant contribution to the Ficly community, including, perhaps most notably, writing ’Don’t Go Down To The Bottomless Lake Today’, a piece which has spawned one of the most successful and co-operative series I have seen on the site in my time here – a testament to her great skill.
In conclusion, I would like to suggest that ‘thelostgirl’ is not in any way lost – your home is Ficly, and the door is always open.
