In my mind, Rasputin’s ‘survival’ has to do with dying stars becoming black holes, and black holes doing strange things to time near the event horizon, and the Negative Zone being the place time anomalies go. It’s wonky pseudo-science at best, but hey, it’s a story with DinoNinjas. :D
