In barely two weeks, someday_93 has taken Ficly by storm, dominating the ‘Active’ list with a stunning portfolio of stories overflowing with originality, flair, and, human emotion.

Considering the short time for which she has been with us, it wouldn’t be rude if I were saying that she ‘shows promise’ or ‘could improve in time’, but I strongly suspect that we are joining her broadcast already in progress – writing of such maturity is undoubtedly that of someone who has harboured a passion for a long time.

Ficly is a community that, even in a world that seems to prioritise figures over friendships and statistics over society, has given me the chance to forge a real bond with someone, despite being separated by the Atlantic – through the stories that litter my homepage as well as the notes that clog my inbox.
