Huh, not sure how I missed this when you first posted it.

Interesting that you made him part of the Blue Man group in a past life. Is that in one of the graphic novels that I haven’t gotten around to reading yet, or something you came up with? Would explain why the Alliance fixed him up without question after they saw his “ident card.”

I think Book was the most interesting character on that show. I loved Mal, but Book was definitely a man who lived, and lived hard. I would have loved to see how his character would have evolved over the course of a few seasons, and find out more about his backstory.

Cool little bit of Fic here that does a great job of both capturing the feel of the world and its characters.

@John – Thanks man. The Blue Book was my idea. I’ve got the first of the graphic novels, but haven’t read it yet…wanting to get the collection first. Who knows, my idea may not be very original.
