Somebody Like You
“Hop in!” he smiled as they approached his red pickup truck. She slid in as he started the engine. “What cha wanna listen to?” he grinned, just excited about the drive they were about to embark on.
“Keith Urban!” she answered immediately and popped in one of his old cd’s. They were flying as soon as they were out of the parking lot, and Austin gained speed as the music did. After a couple songs, he turned it down some, “Where we headin darlin?”
She loved how carefree everything was when he was around; they had the world to do anything simple and anything great.
“Turn right up here,” she smiled knowing there was no road to turn on. They turned off into the middle of pasture and pulled to a stop on top of a grassy hill. The girl climbed out and twirled around in the tall grass, letting the tips of the grass tickle her fingers.
