You’ve set the scene really well with this – I love the little bits of Spanish in there, and the style of storytelling… I can’t really describe it but it’s very personable and reads well.

If this is your breakout story from the romance genre then it’s started well – a good launchpad – MH :)

Exciting start. I loved the little line about being peasants having been put on them. It was a nice touch to give cultural background and really show the family ethos/personality.
